Q3 Update on Afghanistan

Last Year we had a vision.  What if we could connect the vastly energetic, technologically savvy, English speaking youth of Afghanistan with fast growing businesses in America?  Solve one of Afghanistan’s top problems, sustainable economic development, and ensure long-term transformational relationships with this vulnerable population.

We are well on our way.  For the past 12 months our entrepreneurs and technicians in Afghanistan have been working in digital marketing, programming, and Android app development.  Thanks to the help of great companies like Globerunner in Texas, IST Research in Virginia, and recently Clik Focus in Colorado.

Our 2016 vision includes taking this new potential to the next level.  Our 2016 challenge, the US State Department is not issuing visas to Afghans, so we can’t bring the team here to develop their skills with short-term visits.  Simultaneously the security situation prevents most Americans from traveling to Afghanistan.  Our solution is a two-week training summit in Bangalore India.  Trainers and business leaders from America will join our entrepreneurs and technicians from Afghanistan to create new breakthrough potential.

This Summit will cost approximately $35,000 to pull off.  Already two generous businessmen have pledge $20,000.  We are looking for about 30 people or organizations who can donate $500-$2,500 to help us close the gap.  I think it is very important to let you know that the American businesses are paying for their own travel and donating their time.  Global Fusion will be funding and coordinating ground logistics and getting the team from Afghanistan to Bangalore.

You can make a contribution online or mail a check to Global Fusion, attn: Hannah Wells, 1090 Texan Trail, Grapevine, TX 76051.  Please let us know by response if you can make a pledge.  We have 30 days to close this gap.  Thank you for your prayerful consideration to support this critical next step in the project.
